Dear Sailors,
With freedom of navigation still uncertain in the Strait of Hormuz we have decided to postpone the 34th Edition of the Dubai to Muscat Race. A new date will be announced once the navigation situation becomes clearer but, due to the preparation and lead time required, it will not be during the upcoming winter season.
We know this news is disappointing but the safety of everyone who takes part in the Dubai to Muscat race has to be the highest priority. While the 34th Edition is on hold we are working on alternative race plans within UAE waters. More details will be announced later. We are also exploring other opportunities to collaborate with our friends in Muscat to maintain our relationship during this postponement.
Dubai to Muscat is a cherished event in DOSC’s and the wider region’s sailing calendar and we are determined that, when it does take place, the 34th Edition of the race will be the best yet.
